The Colorado Buffaloes have made significant strides in their 2027 recruiting class, adding three new verbal commitments. On Sunday, head coach Deion Sanders announced that Drew Sapp, an edge rusher from Lakeland, Florida; Jayin Talib, an offensive lineman from Allen, Texas; and Coderro McDaniel, an offensive lineman from Brookhaven, Massachusetts, have all pledged to join the Buffs. This brings CU's total to 18 players committed for the upcoming recruiting class. Drew Sapp, standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 250 pounds, has garnered attention with 25 scholarship offers, choosing Colorado over schools like Mississippi State and Vanderbilt. Last season, he recorded impressive stats with 74 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles. Coderro McDaniel, another key addition, is a 6-foot-7, 325-pound offensive lineman who flipped his commitment from Mississippi to Colorado, having received offers from notable programs such as LSU. Jayin Talib, the nephew of former Denver Broncos star Aqib Talib, also joins the Buffs as a 6-3, 275-pound interior lineman. He played center for Allen High School, contributing to a strong 14-1 record and a deep playoff run. The Colorado Buffaloes continue to build a promising future with these new recruits, showcasing their commitment to enhancing the team's roster.
